Bertrand Vidal Director

Bertrand started his trading and logistics career in Johannesburg nearly 40 years ago. He led a team which opened a route from Southern Africa to the Great Lakes region and as a result developed trade to that region. He has maintained a close relationship with both suppliers and customers over the years and created a trusted supply chain which has kept many industries working during some of the difficult times this Central African region has undergone. His duties also took him to West Africa and specifically to Benin where he supervised the supply and delivery of goods to public utilities.

Bertrand was educated in Cape Town, South Africa and in France.

Eric Aneca Director

With extensive experience of more than 30 years in the financial and transport management industry, a solid educational and training foundation and an exemplary career at leading International organisations, Eric possesses the required skills and knowledge to be a valuable asset to Salex Limited. He has commendable management experience and expertise in local and international operations and industries. He is an astute, results-oriented leader with a proven ability to solving problems through applying analytical thinking with strong strategic and operational leadership reinforced by solid ethics, good business knowledge and experience.

Eric has comprehensive knowledge in operating and managing all the multi-faceted tasks within Salex Limited, setting and meeting various targets and goals with ease to ensure the success of the organisation.

James Martin Financial Manager

James grew up in Cape Town, South Africa and attended the University of Cape Town, where he completed a Honors in Financial Analysis Portfolio Management, Post Graduate Marketing Diploma as well as completing the Management level Chartered Institute of Management Accountancy (CIMA).

James joined the group in 2012 as the Financial accountant and moved to the Isle of Man from South Africa to become our Financial Manager in 2017.

Yves Horimbere Africa Desk Manager

Raised in Burundi and educated in Canada, Yves Horimbere is the perfect mix of Western mindset and African cool. He will understand if your payment has not been made yet because your bank manager’s second-degree cousin is having a wedding.

Yves’ job at Salex Limited consists of finding new products, developing new markets and constantly looking for more reliable suppliers. Yves gets easily bored, so be sure to bring all your challenges; he loves thinking outside the box and will find you a solution tailored to the complexity of your needs.

Hobbies include being woken at odd hours by a supplier in Asia and passing on the favour to a client on the opposite side of the world.
